| The MFRC522 is member of a family of highly integrated reader ICs for contactless communication at 13.56 MHz. The MFRC522 is Pin and Software compatible to the MFRC523, PN511 and PN512.
The MFRC522 is a low-cost and high-speed solution based on ISO 14443 A standard that supports all the common controller interfaces. It uses a single power supply and is housed in a small package. The MFRC522 allows low BOM cost designs with very simple & fast design-in.
The MFRC522 is perfect solution for low cost closed payment, identification and handheld applications.
